Albir borders the Sierra Helada, a national park between Albir and Benidorm and allows for various walks within the park. Of course there is also the beautiful walk to the ‘El Faro’ Albir lighthouse. The easily walkable path is a popular walk for the locals, about 40 minutes in each direction. During the walk you’ll have breath taking views of the coastline and it is also a good place to see dolphins swimming.
The Costa Blanca has many walking and cycling routes prohibited for motorized traffic, named the Vías Verdes (green roads). These routes, to be taken by foot or bike, will take you to the most hidden places on the Costa Blanca and are accessible for everyone: children, the elderly and even people with limited mobility will enjoy themselves. There are various other opportunities for recreational biking, mountain biking and cycling, all of which can be done with or without a guide. It’s easy to rent a bicycle or E-bike (electric bicycle) at one of the local bike shops, or you can of course bring your own.
